Attention Fans of ICR2:
The Sim Project will be releasing a totally new carset, one that
will give you an idea what we're up to...
The carset features TransAm Mustangs, using modified full-bodied
N1 cars, and is based on the ICR2 sim. The carset will be a beta
release, and is scheduled to be on TSP tomorrow. I would appreciate
some feedback from those that choose to download, and would like
to know if anyone will try it via modem with a friend.
There's not much paintwork to speak of, but an expansion to PTKit3.3
is currently in the works that will allow you to paint the underbody. In
order for the main paintjob, we're also working on an easy-to-use
interface that will convert a BMP file back to MIP (which will then be
paked back into the dat-file).
IMSA-WSC and GTP cars are on the way, and Marcelo reports that he's
working on an F1 and IRL set, and may be released in 2-weeks.
...oh and BTW, the sound file is FINISHED!!...and I'll upload it with the
TA set tomorrow...The new sound file contains a much-improved engine
(sorry, still not much extra volume), new airwrenches and jack-noises
while in the pits, updated crash noise sequences, and the tire squeal
has been improved.
Thanks to all that visited TSP last month!! =)
Best Regards,
Marc J. Nelson
