For the dozens upon dozens of people who have been nagging me (and I mean
that in a nice way) about whether or not there will be a CART97 carset
and when it would finally be ready, my apologies again for the current
state of affairs.
For those who haven't heard, I paid for a major upgrade to my system right
after New Year's. Now, over four months later, it still has not been
100% completed, and to call this upgrade an unmitigated disaster would
be a horrible understatement. At one point, I was entirely without my
machine for nearly a full month.
But things are SLOWLY returning to normal now, so I have managed to put
the finishing touches on CART96 by adding the silver Rahal car as a
seperate pcx file, along with minor graphic updates on several other
cars.
Version 1.3 of CART96 is now available at [link lost in import: /~unions/]
indycar2.html
Work on CART97 will thus commence shortly, and with any luck, it should
be ready for release in approximately five weeks, assuming I manage to
average one car a day (and DON'T assume).
Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.
Earl
