Screamin'3D / N2 Problem

Help! I installed a Screamin' 3D card in a Dell 200MHz MMX system with 32MB RAM and it works great with the Rendition versions of ICR2, Quake, and Silent Thunder, but *not* NASCAR 2! In the regular version of N2 I get about 25 fps (guessing - is there a way to check?) with all options on and 39 cars displayed in front. With the Rendition version, I get anywhere from 3-10 fps if there are a lot of cars on the screen (such as when leaving the Pits during practice). With only two or three cars other cars on the screen, the frame rate improves dramatically. Yet the action is jumpy for no apparent reason at certain points on the track. I have tried reinstalling N2 and the Screamin' 3D software with no luck. Everything but N2 works great! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Jim
