In the magazine Interaction under TOP TECHNICAL FILES AND
PATCHES there is a section that says
Microsoft's DirectX for Windows 95
www.microsoft.com/games/downloads/
DXEXTRACT.EXE
If you haven't updated DirectX on your system
lately, you should download this file before running any of our
Windows 95 demos.
Now what I would like to know is it necessary to get this upgrade?
What is the latest date for this file?
As I remember it said not to let other programs over right this file
DirectX? I think it said it in either in the program N2 or ICRII
Thanks for any help.
