I had an ensonique card for about a week and returned it. But before I
did, I encountered the same problem and worked around it by loading a
"soundblaster emulation" driver that comes with the VIVO software. I
don't remember the filename, but that allowed me to tell the computer I
had a soundblaster, instead of the ensonique.

Have a problem with my sound in Nascar 1--It seems like everything is
running twice as fast as it should be!!(Ned Jarret sounds like a chip munk
in the start of the program)
I'm running a 16 bit ensoniq vivo90 wave32 sound card (have the game set
on ensoniq also-----when I run the automatic setup for the sound card and
test the sound, it sounds great---then when I run the game it is back to
chipmunk city!!!)
Any suggestions????
