More N2, er, features?

OK, first off, N2 is my fave sim right now. Sit down at PC, look at pile of CDs, just GOT to throw N2 in the drive. Can't help myself. -"GET TO THE POINT" OK, Just finished my first season, 25% race length, 97% opps (just to ease myself in, you understand), constant weather, realistic damage, yellows and pace. Came in 3rd (Doh!). In the final race at Atlanta (I'm using the pit bug workaround), I'm leading comfortably (as I should be at a ridiculously easy 97%), yellows come out, time to pit. I'm getting serviced in my stall (ooer) and get rammed by a certain J. Gordon - wow this sim is -so- realistic ;-) On watching a replay, JG seems to get towed around the track (by the time he's back to pit lane we're green) stops parallel to my stall, moves in sideways (like when you've had a tow) and my crew does him! He leaves and finishes the race. This is fairly minor I suppose but he did damage my car and almost cost me the race. Anyway, I did win and got a different end picture. The car seems to be -on- the pit wall with Atlanta grandstands in the background, I'm (yes, I know it's not -me-, but you know what I'm saying) standing on the car with what I can only guess is the Winston Cup in one hand and signalling with my forefinger implying that I'm number one. But, like I said, I only came third in the championship. THEN when I leave back to 'Season Race' screen and decide to review my progress throughout the year (continue season) my PC crashes! Well, at least the end of season shenanigans were memorable! Time to start 50% length, 100% strength, random weather season. Not going for random breakdowns yet, I'll leave that to the T2! Mark Reading, UK Anyone got any hint for Rockingham? I'm left standing at 100% :-(

>Anyone got any hint for Rockingham? I'm left standing at 100% :-( You and me both! I just finished my first season race at the Rock and it was all I could do to hold as many of em off as long possible. I thing the leader came up behind me at about lap 40. Unfortunately while I went into the pits for new tars and fuel, as I was idling there, my engine packed it in. Not that I mind because I was fairing so poorly, but has anyone else had their motor quit at idle? Karl P.S. I was using the Nascar 2 data file from NASS 97 if it makes any difference to the strength of the AI cars.
