Is there suffient knowledge of gp2 as a program to allow a group of programmers to patch the game with a wet weather option. I believe that the reason that wet weather was left out of gp2 is that it would have sent proc occupancy rocketing when following other cars, this could have been worked around by: 1) turning spray off 2) having different levels of colours for clouds, track and verges to represent light and heavy rain. 3) Also the addition of rain tyres what i am proposing in the first instance is a debate on whether rain can be added by freeware using the smoke option turned on all the time to represent spray --------------------------------------------------------------- Ozie 's GP2 Page http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/7137 ---------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think anybody without access to the sourcecode would be able to write such a patch. In theory yes, but in practice the manhours, such a patch requires, will be enormous.
