I was considering buying the Canopus Total 3D.Is anyone out there using
this card? How is the performance of this card with N2?How is the 2D
perfomance in DOS?Is this card worth the $279.00 price tag?Any advice
would be appreciated.
A friend just installed one. His came with 3D glasses for that price,
I assume yours does too? I would have to say NO to the "is it worth
it" question, unless you can't live without 3D glasses. I bought the
Intense 3D from Intergraph for $188.14 including tax and shipping to
CT. Same rendition chip, same included game software (Full ICRII 3d,
Shareware Quake, Hellbender, Monster ruck, etc..), same performance on
both our machines. I am EXTREMELY happy with this card.

Actually, the chipset the Canopus card uses is a bit newer than the
Intergraph version, and the Canopus also uses faster memory. Overall,
it's a faster card than any of the other Verite cards available.
