GP2 update ????

snip Sorry Lars, there will be no patch, upgrades, etc. MPS has dumped this game. I saw it in a bargain bin at a local store for $19USD this weekend. I've been reading this NG for a long time now !!!! IF Microprose releases a patch or an update, I don't think we will know anything about it until it's there... Everything I've read so far, including when the game was released, has more or less been rumors. Obviously it's Microprose policy to let us all sit in the dark, waiting and waiting and waiting and........... All the Rendition talk, the track update talk, the weather talk..... and from Microprose... NO TALK :-( Mose

Agreed with your comments. I sent them email asking about a possible 3D enhancement patch for GP2and not one friggin' word back. It used to be that Microprose actually showed some interest in their customers, but, that's the past. Now I find them to be one of the *worst* customer support companies around. Not impressed in the least. -- Nos

GP2 yelded a good crop of money, which came from to kind of people: 1) Us, the consumers. 2) All the companies advertising in the tracks of the game. As much as this keep running there will be no need of making nothing else. And this include all bugs and problems characteristic of a shareware or beta version. (Full priced, let's say). Fernando A.
