I havn't seen this posted yet so I thought I'd pass along a couple of
things I've run up against while trying to run N2 from Win95.
* Shortcut bars such as the MicroSoft Office bar cannot be used. If the
shortcut bar is displayed, N2 locks up right after the Papyrus Logo. It
does not matter if the smackply line is REM'd or not in the N2.bat file.
This also happens with other shortcut bars.
* MicroSoft Plus Themes that use long .wav files when opening a program
also seem to *** up N2. Sometimes it works sometimes not.
I've tried this on 3 different machines with various hardware. However,
I have not tried this on a machine that is Rendition ready.
Hope this helps those that may have problems with N2 locking up and I
apologize if this has been addressed already.
