Tests to a regular newsgroups may not really provide you with the "results" you are looking for. When your ISP "posts" a message to a newsgroup, you will see the results immediately (or soon thereafter). This is because your provider is adding the post to its archive of the usenet posts. Just because you can see it, does not mean that it has actually gotten anywhere else in the world. If you really need to test your newsreader or want to know that your posts are actually making it out to the real world please refer to the latest rec.autos.simulators faq. A copy can be found at ftp://ftp.teleport.com/users/~mcarver/AutoSim/rasfaq.txt [This is not a flame. Its purpose is soley for educational/instructional use.
