Hello too all 3D Blaster owners. I have posted 2 zip files in alt.binaries.simulators.autos they have all the files for the full rendition version of Icr2. Also posted the enhanced elkhart lake track. Just download the zips and follow the readme files. they are about 1meg each. I do not know if they got there or ever will. If you can not find them tell me here and I will repost or send them too you. I hope more folks follow my lead and help out people who do not have the game. I too have the 3D Blaster and am very pleased with it. I got the enhanced ICR23D from a friend who has the Reactor Card. I messed around with good old "cut n paste" in windows and found that it is very easy too get the original Indycar2 upgraded too Rendition. Who cares what card may or may not be better than the other! Lets just race and have fun. Too much talk of hardware in this group lately, perhaps we could end it. But if not...oh well. BTW- Im using a fake name and address because I do not know or care if this is legal or not. But I think ALL rendition card owners NEED and deserve this game. Have Fun!! Mr Bill

Doesn't it come bundled with the Sierra Screaming 3D card? That sounds like an attempt to market the card to me... ---Jim Sokoloff, Papyrus

Mr.bill, I and many freinds of mine have the Blaster card and would like to get the enhanced version of ICR2. Please help us. alt.binaries....etc. does not seem to have your upload. thanx for any help and keep up the good work,It's kind of a rip off that Sierra won't put out a patch in an attempt to market the Sceamin 3D card. Well, the point of the previous post to which you are responding is that Sierra won't "patch" the game for users of cards other than the Sierra Screamin' 3D in an attempt to get people to buy the Sierra card over the other Rendition cards. Pretty cheesy marketing to me -- force people (many of whom have ICR2 already) to buy your card, and pay for the software again. Try and tell me bundled software is free -- it isn't - that's why people often opt for the other cards with lesser bundles! Price is the only difference and the price difference is related to the bundled software. Get real, patch the game and maybe get back the support of some of the people who also bought Nascar 2 before it was ready to go. James.

That sounds >> like an attempt to market the card to me... Touche! So, any further version of a program is now a patch? I thought Papyrus was generous to offer the Win95 patch from the DOS version of ICR2 (probably to try to make up for ill-will generated by the late DOS 1.0.2 patch). But now any further version should be offered as a free patch? Maybe NASCAR2 should be offered free to owners of NASCAR1? Maybe talk to Bill Gates about that one... ;) Sierra has not kept the ICR2-3D program exclusive to the Screamin' 3D card, both Intergraph and Canopus bundle it with their cards as well. It sounds to me that your complaint should be with Creative Labs, for being the only Verite card producer to not include ICR2-3D. Or blame yourself, since this was a well-publicized fact in this forum. If you bought the wrong card (and you did if you wanted ICR2-3D), who else's fault is it?!? Before you send me UCE, I know what you're thinking... Did he complain to five or six postmasters last month? Now, you must ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do you, punk?
