When a caution flag turns green and the cars are racing to the line... if
I pass a car before I reach the line, I'll be black flagged... but they
pass me before the line and it's ok. i don't quite understand the rules
in regards to this.

> in regards to this.Are you passing on the LEFT or the RIGHT ? You Can't pass on the left
but passing on the right side of the other car is OK.
