Hi!
I recently got ICRII (the DOS version) and am making 230mph avg lap
speeds in Michigan, but the computer (in 100%) makes them at 240mph!
Is 230 a good lap or do i need some pratice?
email if possible.

From what I understand, the "Lap Record" that you see at the greeting
screen for each track is based on the actual stats from the 1995 CART
season, however, the tracks in the game itself are slightly shorter,
so with the AI at 100% they will turn shorter lap times on the
road/street circuits, and also higher speeds on the ovals (though I'm
not quite clear about why.) The short answer is: keep practicing.
