When I select update from the Sierra site, it says I need to update N2 and tries to download a 162k file. It then says the update could not be completed successfully. What file is it trying to update? -- Chuck Stuart - Mesquite TX USA RaceTime utility program for Nascar1/Indycar2. http://www.metronet.com/~cstuart/

I would also like to know. The same thing happened to me when I tried to download the file too.

I had a similiar problem and I found if I installed Nascar2 in the default directory everything worked but if I installed it in a custom directory it would fail. You might want to look in your \windows\temp directory and see if the file is there and the apply the patch yourself. I hope this helps. Dave

Well, your right as rain but its a self extracting exe so I don't know if I'm any better off. I'll work on it when I get back to Windows 95 although I still don't know what it does. -- Chuck Stuart - Mesquite TX USA RaceTime utility program for Nascar1/Indycar2. http://www.metronet.com/~cstuart/

I don't know if this will get to either the newsgroup or you because my server is screwed up, but in case it does here something I did. After I downloaded the update to what file I don't know I went to the msdos prompt and it completed. Don't ask me how it just had everything there and it completed. Hope this helps, John Flowers II
