Using the latest 3DBlaster driver from:

Filename: 3dpw95up.exe
has cleared up my problems of not being able to have animated/color
cursers along with being able to go to Full Screen Dos sessions
without a terminal lockup occuring. Previously, the only fix for me
was to use the (Microsoft) driver which did allow Full Screen Dos
success under w95 along with monitor powerdown features working. This
did however, disable the animated/color cursers. With the Creative
3dBlaster driver and my Intergraph Reactor, I can now enable the
animated/color cursers and speed is also excellent. No more crashes in
Full Screen Dos under w95! Monitor Shut Down feature also works
although I haven't really had much time to fully test over a period of
time.

P.S.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the Verite Tab in (Display
Properties) as it is still nonfunctional with this driver? I have
tried to take it out of Add/remove programs in control panel but it
doesn't want to go away.
