Is the quality of graphics in ICR2-W95 somewhat lesser than the quality of
graphics in ICR2-DOS? I don't see the amount of texturing that I see in the
DOS game.
Now, quite apart from any differences in the speed of running an app in one
operating system vs. the other, I did notice that when I was setting up
ICR2W95, that a warning came up about using 256 color modes instead of what
I'm using now, 16-bit color. They mentioned something about certain
"effects" not being present in anything but 256 color mode. Now I don't
particularly want to downgrade to 256 color mode from 16-bit color mode,
just for this one game, but are these "effects" that they mentioned
actually these textures that I'm not seeing now?

The graphics are the same, but the performance in ICR-Win95 suffers
quite a bit. Running Win95 in High-Color tends to load-down the CPU,
so changing the screen to 256-color would help, but I doubt there would
be any significant change.

Funny, I didn't notice much difference in performance between the two
versions, apart from the texturing being lesser in the Win95 version. I
switched to a 256 color screen, but it made no difference.
