Hey SamDog, I tried to respond to you via e-mail regarding our plans
to modem race in NYCbut for some reason it never goes through to you.
Anyway, here is the body of the e-mail I sent to you:

Hey SamDog, I could be wrong, but if you post to
alt.binaries.mac.games because you have a Mac, that may be a problem
because I THINK that you can't race over the modem between two
different platforms. Please drop me a line to confirm whether or not
you have a Mac, and we'll post a question to R.A.S. to confirm or deny
my suspicion. Otherwise, I suggest we find a mutually agreeable date
and time to try this out, my vocation not-withstanding.
Cheers,
Pooch
As for anyone else out there reading this, am I correct about the
cross-platform problems when racing by modem? Please respond by post
or e-mail.
Thanks, and happy holidays.
