I remember when I bought IndyCar1, there was no SAVE GAME like there is in WorldCircuit (F1GP). so I called them and asked when this gross oversite was going to be fixed. I was told that it was a design feature. This also was around the time that the online racing leagues were taking off. I was totaly pissed that ICR did not have an ELAPSED time for each car at the end of each race (like F1GP has). Because ICR was so cool I put up with the lack of save game & lack of elapsed time. Heck I even bought ICR2. I passed on NASCAR but heard that NASCAR did have a SAVE GAME. Now with NASCAR2 some genious decides that no SAVEGAME is needed? Get real already. Why would someone at papy possible care if I saved a game during a race or not. Heck they already have ARCADE Mode as a compromise to GAME PLAY. IMHO SAVE GAMEs are the same. Can you at least SAVE your games after qualifying? I believe you could NOT do that in ICR, and it caused the game to suffer IMHO. I liked to qualify on Friday or Saturday & race on Sunday. DUH like the real guys do it...
