How this for a bug. Im running a race at Talladega when someone spins.
The yellow comes out and everyone pits. Im running well down in the field.
When I get back on the track I am running fast to catch the field when I
fly by the car in front of me. I get the stay behind car 21 message from
the spotter. There are 2 cars running nose to tail at the pace lap speed
even though they are no where near the rest of the field!! I wait a second
to see if they are going to speed up. Then out of curiosity I pass them.
As I drive toward the front of the field there are groups of 2-5 cars
running together at the pace lap speed without closing up on the leader. I
was somewhere on the back stretch when the green came out. Oh, and of
course got the black flag. I haven't tried to duplicate this yet, hope its
just a one time thing.
