No affiliation, just passing it along as it's a good deal IMO.. "From Thursday through Sunday we have cut the price of a one-year membership in half. That's right, a full year of racing for just $49! This offer is for members with existing accounts (currently active or need renewal), as well as people new to iRacing looking to get their online racing career start. Just use the appropriate promo listed below: Renewing, extending, or re-activating an existing account? Use Promo Code: PR-BFEM New to iRacing? Want to create a new account? http://www.iracing.com/black-friday/ " Have a good holiday all! GR

Let's face it, if you're a member you're going to end up spending more sooner or later. :-) The active membership graph topped out and started to fall a bit recently, so I anticipate another offer soon after rF2 is released. It is a fair deal though. With $40 of participation discounts you can effectively treat iRacing as free to play... though the participation discount has to be earned in series you've paid for, so there is some cost involved... which is how all free to play projects operate. The hats are usually cheaper though. :-) Actually, can you imagine if iRacing did allow people to buy special helmets? You can guarantee there are people on there who'd buy, even if nobody ever saw the darned thing. Andrew McP PS Offer's only valid up to the 27th, I believe.
