Nascar 2 /Windows 95 problem

I have a problem when I run Nascar2 in windows95 every so often I get periods of 2-3 seconds choppiness. I have a cyrix 166 and 32M ram and diamond stealth with 2mb DRAM. Any suggestions

Not to sound like a s.a., but don't run it in Win95. Something about Win95 polling the system every so often????? Robert

What about when NRL starts and I forced to run through Windows95.

I had problems using the icon created by yhe game after doing an auto install, so I uninstalled and installed from dos, then created a shortcut to the nascar2.exe and it works fine, I guess i'm running around 25 fps with skids,smoke,car textures,wall on. I was hoping for better, but the game is a big improvment in so many other areas Ill stick it out till I build my next computer, c'mon MMX. I was told to make sure the screen savers are turned off. My machine was locking up during the game and when I turned off the screen savers things seem to be doing fine.
