After applying the 102 patch to ICR2 the paintkit doesn't work. Started
anew a few times with same results. Applied patch from DOS. What could I
be doing wrong?

The 102 patch incorrectly sets the CARS95's files as read-only files.
Use the Windows' Explorer to access the CARS95 folder (subdirectory)
and uncheck the read-only properties for the CARS95.DAT and the
DRIVERS2.TXT files. Paintkit should then work. Also, you will be
able to change driver info in the Driver2.txt file from ICR2.
