Does anybody use the ThrustMaster Grand Prix 1 driving wheel with GP2 ? I want to know your comments about it and if you can post me the configuration for using this driving wheel with GP2 you will be very fine. Thanks.
The GP1 wheel works VERY good under GP2. I prefer this for pedals, it's much easier to control, and the brake or gaspedal doesn't just disapper under your table ;-) (OH my god, wheres the brake !!!!!!!!!!) Just use the small converter supplied with the wheel, and configure the game with one joystick. It takes a little practice to get the settings right, but it's a matter of how much wheel lock ect. you want. It took me a couple og hours to get it right, LOTS OF FUN !!!!!! BTW, I've seen problems with the pots on the GP1, they need cleening, otherwise you will not be able to calibrate gas and brake properly, I don't know if this is a generel problem with the GP1 Have fun ! In the game this means that the car will sometimes accelerate even if you're not touching the paddle. Could this be for the same reason? I has assumed it was down to my game port being abit dodgy... I think the problem is your gameport. I have been using the TM GP1 for three months now. And so far no problems at all. It works fantastic. I have no trouble calibrating the throttle and brake. The only problem I had was to find a control setup for the TM GP1 that was the best for me to race with.
