All:
I would like to suggest somthing:
How about Papyrus/Sierra and Pynosis team up and make the BEST Racing
Sim out in the Market. With the combonation of the Papyrus
Cars/Tracks, and the Pynosis Car Damage sun Glare and flips etc...
They would be able to make the BEST Racing Sim out on the Market. This
is JUST a suggestion and I would like to HEAR EVERYONE'S reply and
Comments to this!

If I wanted flipping cars, I'd buy someone else's sims. Flipping cars is a
waste of rendering time and does not enhance the simulation in any way (IMHO).

My comment is,"Good god I had to reinstall my newsreader and forgot
to add your name to my kill file". It had been so nice to read this
newsgroup and not have to read you posts after the noise you made here
a few months back.
So bye bye Tom!!!!!

What the dope means is that, PSYGNOSIS with Destruction Derby 1 and 2,
has perfected the way the car is damaged. I think that is one main
problem in Nascar, the damage seems unrealistic. Also, in those
games, the car physics seem exact, and the cars even look a bit
realer.
I'm not talking down to Papyrus, heavens no <g>, but i'm just making a
suggestion.

It is ironic that Psygnosis' most recent development, Formula One for
the playstation, has virtually no crash simulation at all. It seems
Psygnosis decided to stick to car physics while driving, not crashing.
But it is definitely true that they know how to make cars crash- DD2
proves it.

Hey, I think Psygnosis' new Formula One for playstation and the new
NASCAR for playstation by Papyrus (sort of a hybrid of the old NASCAR
with a little NASCAR2 added) stand as the two best auto sims out at
the moment, at least on that platform. But they are apples and
oranges when compared to each other.
I hope NASCAR2, which looks amazing, comes out for playstation
relatively soon- now that I use the playstation, I find it hard to go
back to my 486dx4-100mhz, and even harder to spend $3000 for a new
computer! Playstation was only $200!
realer???????????

Why not upgrade you PC to a P166 for $345.00? It's a far cry from
$3000.

Don't forget though that you might need to change some of your cards out.
If the pentium you get is PCI and you've got VLB video or something, those
cards won't work.... theres more to be considered than simply the CPU.

REPLY:
Can you give me the name of the company that's selling a VX or HX P166
for $345.00.
The best I find is just a little less than $200 more. For $345 I could
only get a P133 searching.
Seriously.
&
Thanks.
