Hi,
A friend of mine just bought a AST computer and is having a bad
time with ICR2 multiplayer function. The computer is a 586 with a cirrus
75mhz cpu. 8mb ram, built-in sound card. O/S win95. Add-in modem card.
The problem is when he tries to set-up his modem the game doesn't
recognize the the second COM port. He can only choose port 1, irq 4.
While his modem is configured to COM 2, IRQ 3.
We have connected using commit for dos, with no problems, Any
ideas on what's going on would be great as I don't know whether this is a
problem with the game or the configuration of the computer.
The same problem occurs with NASCAR.
He is running both games out of a dos box, to this point no 'out
of memory' errors.
