Put away your computer gear and come take a ride in a real race car!
Bridgestone Racing Academy's 'Thrill of a Lifetime - 2 session course' is
up for auction:

Date of the course: Tue, August 3rd, 2004, 8:30am-5:00pm at the Mosport
Driver Development Center, 1hr east of Toronto.
I went to their site and check out the video. It looks like a blast!

Money for me is squeaky tight right now. But if I can ever save up the cash,
I'm going to try that!
Have fun! Give us a report when you get back. ;)
On a side note... my best friend went to Racing Mechanics school somewhere
near there. I think it was called Shannonville? They used the same kind of
cars.
After he graduated, he got hired to work for a Formula Ford 2000 race team.
I went to a couple of races. The ones an Mid_Ohio were very cool!
He did that for a couple of years. Now he lives in Indy less than 10 minuets
from the Speedway and works for Walker Racing! Both CART and IRL. I'm very
proud of him! ;)

That's awesome! Yes, it's actually the same company - they moved from
Shannonville to the new Mosport Driver Development Center in 2000. I've been
interested in the Mechanics program for a while - that's great to hear that
it actually led to something worthwhile for your friend!
