How does this sound :-
You're doing 320kph down Brabham straight in Adelaide, you enter the
braking area just before the 1st gear hair pin, you hit the brakes hard,
press a button that initiates an timed down shift sequence that
automatically takes you down to 1st gear ready for the tight turn into
Wakefield Rd.
I am currently working on such a project. What I have in mind is four
buttons to shift down 5,4,3 and 2 gears, as I am hopeless at down shifting
and braking at the same time but I hate the way GP2 changes down when I
really wanted to stay in the current gear.
When I have completed and tested it I'll post the circuit.
Any comments/ideas?
