Modem play with converted tracks?

2 posts by 2 people · 05 Nov 1996 - 05 Nov 1996

Nascar Racing Questions: I've been racing with a friend using a modem, but we seem to have some trouble with the converted tracks (ICR2). We both run NASCAR RACING ver. 1.21 The "darn thing" logges off after "Sending Track Data" apperas and i can only assume it's because of the converted tracks (probearlly because it works fine when we remove them!!) 1 - Is there a "patch" somewhere out there wilch fix this ? 2 - If there is one -> where ? I also found it easier to drive during modem play, especially on the road courses, it's like the car's giving better feed-back. 3 - Does the "delay" over the phonelines cause this ? -- Best Racing Regards, Edwin Solheim To finish 1st - 1st u have to finish

The only thing I can think of that would keep it from working is that you don't have the converted tracks on both computers. William
