I could have sworn that when I looked at Intergraph's web site last week, the price of the Reactor was $199.95. Now it says $149. I guess that's one way to help us all make a faster decision. :))))) http://www.intergraph.com/ics/reactor/ CR

What are you talking about? It comes with bundled software.

No bundled software? What do you call Rendition Ready Quake (for which you can download the patch for free from Rendition anyway) and the full version of ICR2, plus the trial versions of MTM and Hellbender? -- Emory University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences Nascar Setups Page: http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~ebusch/

I would guess they lowered the price to stay competitive with Sierra and Creative Labs as the Reactor doesn't come with bundled software. I'm going to order mine tomorrow! Rick

My face is red...sheesh!

Definately ask for a refund, or return it. I've done that sort of thing on two occasions with different products where there was a price drop within 30 days of my purchase. Both times the companies refunded me the difference with no trouble at all.

As a follow-up... I called Intergraph today and they were quite nice about it and credited my account for the $50 difference. It took 1/2 hour on the phone, but the trick was getting the right person. I'd recommend talking to either Susan Valdez or Martha Waldrup (check your order paperwork). I only had to talk to Martha for 2-3 minutes to get the job done. Signed, a satisfied Intergraph customer, eager to go plug my new Reactor into the P133 I got today! Pick one or more: Model Rockets (competition-NERCB) / PCs (even Atari!) / Papyrus ICR-ICR2-NCR / Who needs a life when you have multiple non-lives?
