NFS SE Bug/Problem???

1 post by 1 person · 01 Nov 1996 - 01 Nov 1996

Hi everyone, I recently bought NFS SE and I think the game is brilliant. I run it in DOS. The game runs fine except for one small problem: the split times that are given are way off. For example on the city-track 1 driving a Diablo as always on the first split time I'm nearly 1.5 seconds slower than the best time (at least that's what it says), on the second timing I'm 4 seconds slower and then miraculously at the finish I appear to be 1 second FASTER than the fastest time yet. This happens on several tracks, the split times that are given are not correct. Especially on City Track 1 this is very noticable because you just can't lose 1.5 seconds on the first part of the course when driving the same car as the time you are being compared with. Does anybody out here have the same problem or knows why this is happening???? Thanks for your help. Dennis Vandenberg
