Hey Dave, I have another tele line connected and so does my veteran
ICR2/Nascar buddy and it
makes a world of difference to communicate and drive at the same times,
we laugh our ass off
and were able to pull off some incredible passes because of the
communication. My question
is: Does the DSVD modem slow down the framerate at all when hooking via
modem? I have the
latest Supra turbo 28 DSVD and might like to race long distance.
Thanks for any info. -David G.

You'll find an article on the Late Night website about DSVD modems and
ICR2/NASCAR. I have the USR Sportster DSVD modem and the short answer is:
It works and it's great!

Has anyone gotten one of the voice/data modems to work when competing
head to head with ICR2. This seems like it would be an interesting
and useful feature if you could converse periodically while racing
against your competitor. Has anyone tried this, and will ICR2
support/allow this?
