Noisy Video Sequences in F1 Manager

1 post by 1 person · 21 Oct 1996 - 21 Oct 1996

I have noticed that the video sequences in Europress F1 Manager are very noisy on my system. As the video plays, the sound is crackly with a sort of rhythmic 'thrumming' to it. On further investigation, the video sequences in Civilisation II do this as well. If I copy the files from the CD to my hard-drive and play them from there, however, the noise goes away and the sound is normal. Any ideas as to why this should be? My system is - Intel Pentium 200MHz, 24Mb EDO RAM, 512kb PB Cache DOS 6.2 / Windows 3.11 SoundBlaster AWE32 Mitsumi 4x CDROM Tseng ET4000/W32p Thanks for any help. /----\ /---\ /---\ |\ /| | oo | | | | | \/ | Thomas Hughes - Engineer \ -- / | | | | | 'If you can't beat them, give up' \ / | \---/ | |
