Read the postings from the past week, Adam L. from Papyrus has said several times the problem will be cleared up when Nascar2 comes out, your Cyrix chip should run the final version fine. rgds MP ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MP Scurvydog #00 Simpson-Cowlings Motorsports http://www.netcom.com/~svydog/scms/index.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As previously noted, the problem with the Cyrix chip will be fixed in the final version. BTW, I don't think Intel is really scared of anyone, except maybe Microsoft. Everyone's scared of them :). Adam Papyrus

<snip> Cyrix is better ...and Intel Do get real. Intel is hardly "scared to death" of Cyrix. Intel will be around long after Cyrix has gone the way of AMD. You may not like it, but that doesn't change the facts. -Kev
In previous postings Sierra has already stated that it was a bug, and it's been fixed. Why on earth would they want to eliminate half of thier customers?

>Seems Intel must have paid Papyrus-sierra off....REQUIRES intel >pentium processor?...Come-on guys!!!! You use to be better than >this!!!! This was an unintentional omission, that they failed to catch in testing. This is just a demo and not the final product. Papyrus have already announced here on r.a.s that they intend to support the Cyrix and the 486 processors. Dave (davids) Sparks Late Night League http://www.sequoia-dev.com/Hawaii/latenite.html
