Has anyone else noticed that when you finish a race, the flag marshalls
do the normal flag waving thing, but there are blue flags, and white
flags? They don't appear during a race, so why at the end of a race?
This is in super VGA.

This is not so >pointless but isn't in the sim anyway. Why? If only microprose support >were like papyrus'one on this newsgroup... >AlbertoThats right, the white flag for last lap is only used in the USA.

Ambulances and tow trucks never (almost) appears on F1 circuits, luckily, differently from Indycar
racing, where trucks are on the track almost every time there is an accident (but there is also
full course yellow of course).
The white flag is often used in F1 to signal the presence ahead of cars with a broken engine,
a broken wheel or that are simply moving slowly (as the first poster said).
There is no flag to be shown in F1 when there is only one lap to complete the race.
