I've got a couple of questions about Monster Truck Madness:
1. Is it supposed to idle at half throttle, or have I done something wrong?
All helps are off, and I've tried recalibrating, I figured maybe monster
trucks really idle fast. It makes staging for drags more difficult(unless
you cheat and press "s").
2. When I press the Monster truck web stop button, nothing happens. I use
Netscape to access the internet through a local server. Am I supposed to
configure the netscape dialer somehow with win95 and the game?
The game is pretty cool, a welcome change from sims while waiting for NCR2 to
come out. I have to turn quite a few things off to minimize slowdowns in
320x400 mode on my 75mhz Pentium, but it's still alot of fun. I think there
should be a losers bracket in the drags though.

When I die, I want to go peacefully, like my grandfather in his sleep,
not screaming like the other passengers in his car.
A friend of mine has the same problem. It is not supposed to idle at half
throttle. We have tried everything, but mine works and his won't. We have
practically the same joysticks (T1 and T2) but MTM won't let his throttle
go to center. Strange, because the Win95 calibration program shows that
the throttle is perfectly centered.
This feature works if you have set the connection in IE3 to your normal
dial-in. I really wouldn't expect MS to make this feature work right with
Netscape. :)
Excellent idea. I also wish that you could remove certain detail features
from the auto graphics detail. I like the auto-detail, but the smoke
absolutely kills the frame rate. I want to be able to use auto-detail, but
not allowing the computer to select smoke as on option.

I think you can. Turn smoke and whatever else you want off first, then
select auto-detail, and it should just adjust the options you have left
on.

Yes. It runs smooth as butter on the Orchid Vodoo.
Q.B.M.
It also runs quite well on Intergraph's Reactor3D according to the review
at Online *** Review.
