Has anyone read this (OCT 96) review yet? Unbelievable is how I would describe it. I doubt if the reviewer even played the game. He claims that a P5-100 is sufficent to get a "comfortable framerate" with the detail maxed in SVGA. Nowhere did I read about cars flipping or engines blowing up. Or how the framerate gets fudged at processor ocupancies over 100%. He did mention smoke in the mirrors though. Wow... The only negative thing was the the game was hard. Oh please give me a break. If he spent any time to learn to drive the game he would know better. I don't get the best times that are posted here. But I can always meet or break the track record for qualifing. And I am not that good at all. I just spent some time playing the game. I think that reviewer must not have played too many auto simulators. I quit reading PC Gamer some time ago because I thought their reviews were (shall we say) lacking. Nothing has changed as far as I can tell. I got this issue because of the review with the head of Origin.
