How to switch back and forth between speedometer and no speedometer???
> How to switch back and forth between speedometer and no speedometer??? Why is everyone so concerned about a speedometer, real race cars dont have them? Thats why you have a tach and a spotter to tell you when you are close to speeding in the pits.

They just want a speedometer because, for them, it makes the sim driveable. Not everyone can get along without one. Besides, I haven't heard anything about the spotter telling you how fast you're going in the pits. How could he tell, anway? I know in real life the crew chief reminds the driver of the maximum rev number to stay below to avoid speeding. ------------------ Kyle Langston ------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.traction.git.net/nrcentral/ - NASCAR Racing Central -------------------------------------------------------------------

In the demo the crewchief/spotter will tell you when you are close to speeding in pitlane, try speeding up slowly and you'll hear him. As for not everyone wanting to drive like the pros, there will be a speedometer in the release version.
Hi Trev: Unfortunately, the***pit in the demo is so blasted gloomy that I can make out the tach at all...
