Well after playing GP2 for four hours, I decided to "hack" into the NASCAR 2 demo files. I found that there is 50 wav files in the "Main.dat" file!!! Plus, over 355 wav files!!! If you all want I could upload them to the binaries newsgroup. Which btw, is over 2.5mb of wav files!! Remember, that's over 400 wav files!!! Other interesting things I have found, some of the "win", "trophy", and "championship" screens are the same!! Papy, I hope you will change them, as the graphics for them are out of place for NASCAR 2. You have more detail in NASCAR 2 than NASCAR 1, which would seem out of place for the "old" screen shots. I also see that there is some new formats in the files.. There is some new screens for I guess when you exit NASCAR2. A screen shot of Earnhardt, Martin..etc.. Oh yeah, for some reason, there are always Chevies in the front. ;) No kiddin'. ( No flames please ) I also see the "old" menu screen that says, "NASCAR Racing", found in NASCAR 1. I just really hope there will be some changes in the final. Your setup screen is just a pcx file. So if you changed the setup, by renaming the, "default.st1", you couldn't tell if your setup was there or not. take care..
