Has anyone received a message from Microprose concerning the Monza
contest? I think I am among the 30 best, and today (friday 13.) was
the last day to get a message from MP. I haven't been told to send
my hot lap either. Maybe my 1.22.083 time sucked after all...

I'm afraid so. My time was 1:21.594 and I haven't heard anything
either; plus, there's been talk of 1:19s in this group. We can at
least console ourselves with the thought that our laps were set with
a realistic setup, by staying on the track, and at less than 100%
processor occupancy - I doubt any of those will be true for the
winner.
