It works GREAT!!! Latest update included TIR support, just tried it
and its fantastic. Thing is, TIR is coming out with an updated version
of its software to enhance it even more! From what I can gather it
will implement even more ways to move around in the cockpit..
WTG to Hitech and the boys!

Cool deal. I posted a question about TR support on their forums not too
long ago and they said it was in development but I didn't realize it would
be ready this soon.

intended for Flight-sim... The site explains it all.. and I *think*
GTR will have support built in also, though to be honest I don't see
the need in a racing sim...

Are you kidding me? Have you seen some of the Pit Babes they have been
sneaking into these sims? We need full rotation babeee.....
Really tho...having visable side mirrors often means your eyepoint is back
by the rear wheels...a device like track IR would allow a driver to glance
at a mirror that normally would be out of his view...or look down the
pitlane when exiting a pit garage, so you don't run into another car...same
thing when re-entering the racing surface after a spin...you will have much
greate SA and be able to avoid wrecking another car.
Finally Oval racers will benefit...how many times has a car disappeared
from your field of view, only to slam into your rear fender the moment you
think about changing lanes? A quick glance could save the day.

Absolutely! And driving sprint cars will finally make sense once you
are able too look out the side of the car while moving sideways.

I can see all these arguments being good with VR goggles, but with the Track
IR, you have to move your head to move the viewpoint, but you are still
looking at a fixed viewpoint (the monitor) so you end up glancing sideways
at your screen, which is rather unnatural.
