GP2 Modem Problems.. Help

2 posts by 2 people · 12 Sep 1996 - 12 Sep 1996

When I try to modem race with GP2 the game will not recognize Comm 4. I used the Comm utility and it let me see Comm 4 but when I tried to initialize it said the modem was not responding. What am I doing wrong? The modem sure works fine in Nascar and Indycar. I'm really surprised that a game of this calibur would have modem setup problems. Hopefully it is just me having setup problems. Please advise. Thanks. your CMOS setup.(either com1\com3 or com2\com4) I had the same problem as you, and I also was able to run Indycar and Nascar with no problem. Hope this helps, but trust me, even after you get it working, GP2 modem play is HORRIBLE. Papyrus has them beat hands down in that department!
