Hello,
I remember reading some posts sometime ago regarding some springs and
other equipment sent to T2 owners from TM as repacements for the internals.
Mine is beginning to exhibit alot of play in the steering column. Could
someone who knows about this please post some info. Thanks, Chris.

Really?!? Outstanding?!? I recently sent them *several* e-mails
concering
problems I'm having with a T2 unit, and they haven't replied to one of
them ... I wouldn't call their support outstanding ...

It seems that Thrustmaster's e-mail system is pretty poor, twice now I have
had the same problem where their e-mail system loses my e-mails, I'm
talking about the e-mail address on their support Web page.
That address worked for me last time. The thing is that Thrustmaster's
customer support is the best, second to none, but only once they actually get
your e-mail...
Matt their representative that hangs out here was terrific in helping
me last time I was having problems getting mail to their support address,
actually he probably has already gotten in touch with you after seeing your
post, and Buzz has also been very helpful in the past.
I only hope that Thrustmaster can get their e-mail problems fixed, as I
was pretty mad at first thinking they were ignoring my repeated e-mail
attempts to that e-mail address on their homepage. There might be a lot more
people getting mad at them for this very reason without them knowing.
They have earned a loyal customer here with their excellent customer support.
And I am sure they will help you out once you actually reach them.
Cheers.

I got a reply to my e-mail the same
day, and my replacement parts within a week. Did you sent the e-mail
directly or using their online form at
http://www.thrustmaster.com/service/servmail.htm ?
Perhaps this would be too easy a solution, but did you ever think to just
pick up the phone and try calling them? Their number is: (503) 639-3200
and 011492714889430 for you Europeans.

They only replied to you an year after ? :-))
All replies must be sent here or to
E-mail.
You know, I keep reading message after message about how great Thrustmaster is,
how they'll send you free replacement parts when your T2 breaks. It makes me
wonder: why they don't just improve the quality of the parts in the thing so
they don't break in the first place?
I've had my T1 for over a year and a half and have yet to experience any
problems. I did get some replacement parts sent to me just in case, but as
of yet I have not had to use them.

I have found that they seem to have problems receiving timely email
the same or following day at this address.
BTW, I have found that you should include your ground mailing address
on your first email to them. If you know the specific problem (e.g.
springs), they will send them right out. If you dont know the problem
and describe it, they usually know the fix and will also send any
parts right out without the need for exchanging further emails for
ground addresses, etc
I have nothing but good things to say about their support!

I've had my T1 for almost 2 years with a $100 investment and had
great support for springs, pots, bungee, and omrons (shifter
buttons). My T1 gets a pretty good workout with ***agers involved
also. :) I am VERY pleased and have plans for a T2 soon on a 2nd
machine. I have no issues with the investment.
