Winter Racing League - IndyCar II
Now forming, the WRL will be a short winter series, 6 to 8 races in
length. The series is sponsored by the Snake Racing team. Check out
our website at [link lost in import]
Participation in the series is free, of course.
The series will begin in September, and run through December.
Races will vary in difficulty, but will be geared to average racers.
Our goals:
To help new drivers gain in skill, learn how to set up a car, and
have access to good setups for each race.
To challenge more expert drivers, and provide a superior league
experience, with prompt scoring and good competition.
Other info:
We will be running the league with IVGA scoring software, ensuring
a fair playing field. Membership to the IVGA is free, and simply
entails getting an IVGA #. Check out their website at
[link lost in import: /;Membership] allows participation in IVGA-sponsored
series, and competition on their hotlap board.
Unfortunately, it will be an IBM-only series.
