What you gave us doesn't mean shit. You have to specify what controller if help is on damage off traction control on etc. If its an ego boast u are after its good. Hardly world class though Gauntlet "I kick ass for the Lord"
| I've managed a 1:47.769 min. at Spa. Wow... that can't be true... you must have edited the circuit definition and cut out some corners! :-) I'm at a 1:54.360 and think can find another second or two. You're faster than any real driver has been in the last couple of years. Care to share car setup with us? What's you controls? keyboard, or steering wheel? what help is on? --[ Edwin ]-- -- Dept. of Computer Science, Utrecht University, The Netherlands [WHOIS: ehk3] -------------------- http://www.cs.ruu.nl/people/edwin/ -----------------------

I have noticed one or two things. You can not break a existing circuit record with F1 and F2 on. I actually run a few laps with F1 and F2 left on to get a feel of the changes I make to the setup. At the moment, I have 1.20 for Interlagos with all helps on except damage. The car does not travel where you want it to and you have to frig around with the braking, but you can simulate a good run every now and then. I then get in without the helps and try a few laps. You immediately notice a difference! I am not saying you get any good driving practice, but when experimenting with the setup, I wanted to remove as much variables as I could. The driving is more 'stable' when the computer is in control allowing you to see any immediate affects of your changes without worrying if you took the corner at the same speed last time or if you are on the line or whatever. Pity I can not create a setup and then send say Schumacher on a few laps to test it out. Unless of course, I do the driving...
