NASCAR1: Track records utility

1 post by 1 person · 28 Aug 1996 - 28 Aug 1996

Due to the internal workings of NASCAR by Papyrus, real world track records cannot be accurately plugged into the RECORDS.TXT file. Larry Abels has created a(n) utility to re-calculate real world track records in mph into seconds based on Papyrus' internal track measurements. The utility has an error of +/- 0.005 seconds for some of the tracks. This version also includes oval tracks for ICR2. I have included his utility on my Utilities area of my AutoSim web pages at: http://www.teleport.com/~mcarver/autosim.htm [address restored] Or you can check out Larry Abels' homepage at: [link lost in import] -- **************************** Michael E. Carver ************************* Upside out, or inside down...False alarm the only game in town. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=<[ /./. [- < ]>=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
