How can I have my own track records instead of these actual track records which I can't get?I'm not interested in the actual record just the best I can do.There must be a way.

Sammy Nurmela (sorry if I`ve got the name wrong) has written a utility that will set the records to 3m 00.000s so as you can easily beat them. You can get it from http://www.utu.fi/(lang_eng)/~snurmela/gp2util.html. Mark _________________________________ "..every lap I think `Oh bollocks! Hi! Speaking of records, is it a bug that the qualifying record on the belgium track (spa- something) is held by Barricello (spelling may be wrong :) ) and is 2:21:??? when Hill has done 1:57:??? in the race? I myself did 2:01:654 with all the driving help on (Im still learning :) ) and i got the new record. Fred.

In the year the game is based on (1994) Barrichello got the pole position at Spa on a partially wet circuit. I guess the records are rather the best qualifying and race times in the 1994 season than the actual records of the track. Bye, Luca

The game displays the qualifying records of 1994 and in 1994 it was raining during qualifying on Spa.... Robin

Also there was a chicane at Eau Rouge that year which is not included in the GP2 version of the track. Due to the accidents at Imola at the start of the season, Spa was one of a few tracks that were modified to be made safer (slower). So Barricello held the qualifying record for the new configuration. Luca is right, qualifying was on a partially wet circuit, while the race was mostly in the dry. I believe the '96 Belgium GP was held on the original circuit configuration. mike
