GP2 Modem Link USRobotics 33600

1 post by 1 person · 15 Aug 1996 - 15 Aug 1996

Hi there, I have a friend that owns a US Robotics 33600 v34+ Internal Modem and we''ve tried to connect with GP2 dozens of time but had no success. I own a Zoom 28800 v34 modem and we both run the game with the USE16550 switch on from MS DOS mode. The link always hangup just after the connection is established on the screen that reads "TRANSFERING DATA", then just about the transfer meter is full, it stops and hangs up. He tried both US Robotics (type I and II) and also pure AT&F initialization strings but nothing worked. I even tried to set my modem to v32bis only, but yet, it didn't work. HELP Please! -- []s, Demetrius Nunes
