Revs

Could anyone tell me the names of the drivers and the colour of their cars in the old bbc micro game "Revs".Thanks

The only two I can remember are: Billy Bumper Wilma Cargo I'll see if I can drag up some more names - they were all as lame as those two examples though! Can't help you with the colours as I only ever ran it on a black & white portable <g> Richard

Here is the full list of 19 as taken from the C64 binary of Revs. Max Throttle Johnny Turbo Davey Rocket Gloria Slap Hugh Jengine Desmond Dash Percy Veer Gary Clipper Willy Swerve Sid Spoiler Billy Bumper Slim Chance Harry Fume Dan Dipstick Wilma Cargo Miles Behind Roland Slide Rick Shaw Peter Out All very corny. I don't know the colours and sadly I can't check because my C64 is not working. Could I ask, Mark, why you want to know. IIRC the top 3 were the usual winners (apart from me obviously :-) and the last few were the usual back markers. I am thinking of setting up a Revs Web page, possibly including a hall of fame. What about: Max Throttle Johnny Turbo Gloria Slap I thought the 'amusing' names added a lot to the game. Seems amazing to think that Revs could have grown into GP2 over the years... ------------------------------- Neil Sumpter
