Since others are talking about wish lists for nascar 2 that will likely
never be used, I have one. Damage repair, you should be able to choose
what you want to repair, there are priorities afterall, and you should
also be able to STOP repairs. It's so frustrating that if you want to repair
you have to wait until every little ding is knocked out, meanwhile I am
sitting in the car thinking "Guys, you can spray paint the body and sponser
some other time!". In reality, under cautions, unless the damage make the
car undrivable, most of the time they come in, bang on it, and when the pace
cars starts exiting turn 4, they leave the pits so they avoid going a lap
down, and come back in the next lap, and do this a few times if the damage
is purely cosmetic and only affects drafting/handling.
And where's the spotter? Love coming around a turn at 170 and running into
a crashed car because there was little or no advanced warning. No nascar
team can survive without one, all drivers have a spotter to alert them to
trouble up ahead.
